The first Skin of Colour Training Day oganised by The Dowling Club and the Skin Diversity Subcommittee of the British Association of Dermatologists took place as a Virtual meeting on 29th January 2021.
The target audience was Consultant Dermatologists, Dermatology SAS, Dermatology Trainees, GPs. and GP trainees.
There is a broad range of treatments for skin of colour in the NHS for acne, pigmentation, razor bumps and rosacea. This clinic widens the range of options that are available to people with skin concerns.
It was a fantastic event which gave a comprehensive overview of how skin and hair problems present and can be treated in people with skin of colour.
