I had and am still having a fantastic experience with the Crewe Hair and Skin Clinic. I had a virtual consultation with Dr Wilson in June and she was professional, thorough, and genuinely took the time to understand my concerns rather than giving me a generic one-size-fits-all routine.

She recommended ESK products for my skin and the advice was spot-on — I finally feel like I’m using products that actually suit my skin, not just what’s trending. My skin has improved noticeably since then.

What stood out most for me was finally speaking to a woman of colour in dermatology. It made such a difference feeling understood and not having to explain things other doctors have previously overlooked. Representation really matters in healthcare, and it shows in the level of care she gives.

I’d genuinely recommend Dr Wilson to anyone who wants tailored, knowledgeable advice and results you can trust.

I had a virtual consultation and an in person appointment with Dr Ingrid regarding an itchy scalp and hair loss that I was having with no explanation. I had already seen my local GP who did not provide me with much help, so I was quite desperate to understand what was going on. Dr Ingrid was extremely kind and patient with me and discussed all different possibilities. I was given an initial diagnosis but when symptoms persisted and I returned, Dr Ingrid was willing to consider different alternatives until we got to the bottom of it. She carried out different analysis including tricholab imaging until I was able to get the correct diagnosis. Off the back of our appointments, I was able to return to my local health services and get the right help that I needed. If it wasn't for Dr Ingrid, I may have lost more hair than I did (and had a worsening condition!) as I wouldn't have been able to catch the issue in time through my local GP. I am really grateful to Dr Ingrid for her services!

I have been experiencing thinning hair, hair loss since 2021. Initially I went to a renowned Hair Clinic in Knutsford. Not only was it very expensive but there was no difference after 12months.
After more research I came across 'Ingrid Wilson' Crewe Hair & Skin Clinic.
I had a consultation, where a health review, examination of the scalp & a Tricholab diagnosis was performed.
Ingrid's knowledge, patience & dedication is outstanding!! Also are the procedures that she performs.

All I can say to anybody is to get a qualified & experienced Practitioner who specialises in hair loss, otherwise you could lose lots of money.

I have attached photographs to confirm the difference in my hair.
"Bear in mind" this has taken 12 months.. The 1st photo is when I first went to Ingrid. The 3rd picture you can see new hair growth coming through.

I had a good consultation with Dr. Ingrid and the treatment she prescribed worked immediately. She listened to concerns and suggested the right tests. I had suffered from itchy scalp since 2017 and seen many dermatologist. But still didn't get better. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Ingrid Wilson is truly amazing, I’ve been going for a few months and my issue has improved greatly as well as the appearance of my skin. Having experienced issues with flakey, itchy scalp & hair loss for 3 years I was given Dr Wilsons details by a Michelle Thompson Hair. Sadly I had been misdiagnosed by my NHS Practice and Private Dermatologist, who both prescribed a list of shampoos and lotions try. Whilst some meds initially helped, this was not sustained. Following an in-depth 1-2-1 consultation with Dr Wilson including TrichoLab scalp imaging, I was given a diagnosis and detailed treatment plan (the best bit was knowing what is was and that it could be reversed with time). My GP was then able to prescribe the topical treatments needed, Dr Wilson also advised the vitamins needed to help my deficiency. 7 months on I have great steady regrowth, no flaking or itching!! The improvement has also had a positive impact on the anxiety I felt due to the condition of my scalp & hair. From my first phone call to my 6 month consultation, Dr Wilson has been absolutely amazing, her advice, her warm calming nature and professional knowledge was encouraging and supportive. Dr Ingrid is a delightful person very warm, experienced with expert knowledge and it’s clear what you want and how she can help you get that are very important to her. I am a woman of colour. I have had a long standing scalp issue which I have not been able to get to the bottom of with the NHS. It has been a source of my distress for many years. There is no anti dandruff shampoo I haven’t tried. Dr Ingrid did an in depth investigation into my diet, lifestyle, scalp examination, sample photos to a lab and was able to give me a diagnosis within a relatively short period. She also recommended some treatments and tailored hair products with absolutely no pressure to buy. She has the unique combination of the medical expertise of a Doctor and trichologist combined with an understanding of textured / Afro hair and what’s important to us. She was also able to recommend some supplements to help with symptoms and give me a prognosis . The trip to Crewe was absolutely worth it. She is an absolutely amazing woman and so modest with it. I am super grateful to Dr. Ingrid, for the dedication and interest she put in my case from the first moment. She made me feel calm and that I was in a safe space, where, of course, all my doubts regarding why I was losing my hair were clarified. She was very careful when taking pictures of my scalp, which she then deliberated carefully with other doctors specialised in the subject and a few days later she sent me a report with the best treatment options to follow, daily and weekly capilar advice and diet.
Today, I can say with complete certainty that Dr. Ingrid is a very well qualified and expert doctor in her field. I am very happy with the results I'm getting after following her instructions.

I went to Crewe Hair and Skin clinic for electrolysis to permanently remove my facial hair as part of my transgender transition journey. Dr Wilson has been sensitive and compassionate, and performed the electrolysis incredibly skillfully. After a few sessions, my facial hair is now beginning to thin, and I am thrilled with the results!

I spent a good month or so looking to find someone I felt was skilled enough, and that I trusted enough, to perform prp. I found Dr Ingrid Wilson, and upon further research discovered that not only was she far more qualified than the majority offering hair treatments (she's a trichologist and a GP) , but she was actually cheaper too, and closer to me. I've had prp and regenera treatment with Dr Wilson for my hair, and have visited a handful of times since last year. The whole process was very relaxed and informative, and Dr Wilson explained everything to me as we went through it. I would seriously recommend her and her clinic, I was unsettled as a man losing his hair, but I felt totally secure and at ease with Dr Wilson, and it's always so educational as well, as I ask her so many questions. She can get you the very best in treatments and products , and will personalise your experience just for you ( I use topical finasteride that I get through her, and it is a fantastic product for me) I'm always impressed and reassured by her constant striving for knowledge in her field, and her being at the forefront of hair and skin science through her research. Knowing that I was doing all I could for my hair loss, and with the knowledge and experience of someone like Dr Ingrid Wilson, was itself a weight off of my mind. I regard myself as incredibly fortunate to have access to this lady and her wealth of knowledge, expertise , and her lovely gentle nature. Don't think twice about it, go and see her.

I was treated with respect and not made to feel that anything I asked was too much bother. The hair loss that I have is permanent but with the help, guidance and advice from both Ingrid and Lavone, I walked away from Crewe Hair and Skin Clinic feeling hopeful that all was not lost. (Prior to this hair consultation, I had considered shaving my remaining hair). I cannot say enough to commend the professionalism and kindness of these two women - the consultation was worth every penny. Thank you both.
