What is the WOW fusion treatment?
WOW fusion is an innovative needling treatment using the WOW fusion device. The treatment allows the practitioner to create bespoke skincare cocktails in the little glass vial that is ideal for your skin care needs.
The WOW fusion device contains 20 surgical steel, 24K gold-plated needles each being 0.13mm in diameter. As the needles are so thin, they make a small trauma without the pain. They are tapered to allow the flow of serum into the skin at the depth where they will be most effective at the epidermal/dermal junction.This infuses your skin with hydration, vitamins, peptides and essential ingredients for super healthy and radiant skin.

Is a course of treatments better?
As with almost all aesthetic treatments 1 treatment is a treat, a course is a treatment. The course recommended for you will be guided by what your skin concern is. Generally a course of 3 is recommended to get results.
- Rosacea, Open Pores, Oiliness and Acne. 1 WOW fusion® with toxin followed 2 weeks later without toxin and repeat again without toxin 2 weeks later
- Pigmentation. It might take up to 6 treatments, 2 weeks apart – reassess after 3 treatments
- Acne Scarring. Repeat treatment without toxin every month. Repeat treatment with toxin every 3 months until improved
- Excessive Sweating – Face. As needed. Results may last 2-4 months
- Hair/sweaty scalp. Repeat once a week, for 6 weeks without toxin using 1.25ml Hair and 1.25ml HA Factor. Repeat with toxin again at 12 weeks
Can PDRN be added in to boost the results?
In autumn 2025 a new addition to the WOW fusion family was launched. A regenerative complex featuring 2% PDRN (20mg/ml) and 4% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3). Formulated with Glycerin to focus on cellular repair, barrier strengthening, and anti-inflammatory action.

Can it be used with other devices?
Yes. It is optimised for use with the WOW fusion device at both 0.6mm and 1mm. It can be used with microneedling pens and is even suitable for post peel and laser treatments.
What is the difference between Polynucleotides (PN) and Polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRN)?
- Polynucleotides have a higher molecular size
- PDRNs have a better healing speed and anti-inflammatory effect
- Polynucleotides appear to be stronger for structural repair and firmness/elasticity

What are the results?
The WOW fusion gives you fantastic glowing skin. You get the benefit of microneedling with the addition of mesotherapy. The micro needling helps stimulate collagen and elastin for amore youthful looking skin and the WOWfusion serumshydrates, brightens, stimulates and improves the texture andtone of the skin. The results can last for up to 3 months from one treatment depending on the solutions made up for you.

What if I don't want the mask over my face?
The LED mask is thoroughly cleaned after each client.
The Dermalux LED uses the same technology and may be more preferable. You will need to wear blackout goggles.
What about skincare?
The WOW fusion products were created by Claire Williams following a personal history of acne and rosacea. The Intradermology Skin Care products are part of the WOW fusion family. These products are available to buy from this clinic to help to support results of the clinic treatments.
Other skin care brands are available.
Can this treatment be used in Skin of Colour?
This treatment is inclusive can be used in skin of colour, but as with all peels, caution is advised.
If you are prone to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation you may wish to consider alternative options including WOW fusion with PDRN. You are likely to be advised to start on a programme of skincare before the treatment to suppress pigmentation and reduce the chance of rebound post inflammatory pigmentation.
As for all other client groups, sunscreen is a non-negotiable in the weeks after this treatment and in the long term.
You may be offered other peels such as the Neostrata ProSystem peel, Zo Skin Health Peels or Vi Peels.
A tester session is recommended for the Obagi Blue Peel radiance peel.
