Some, but not all of the injectable procedures at the clinic may be significantly more tolerable following the use of local anaesthetic cream. This has until now been available free of charge when requested. It will continue to be offered free of charge for the first occasion of use.
Effective immediately, there will be a small charge of £20 for the application of local anaesthetic if it is required at the beginning of your appointment.
This change is necessary due to the following:
- Cost of Local Anaesthetic: The cost of acquiring and maintaining a sufficient supply of high-quality local anaesthetic has increased.
- Time Required: Applying local anaesthetic and waiting for it to take effect adds significant time to your appointment, potentially impacting our ability to see other patients/clients on time.
It is with regret that this additional charge has been introduced – but the clinic will continue to offer you treatments where the focus will be on value rather than price.
Alternative Options:
- Source Local Anaesthetic Yourself: You may choose to source the local anaesthetic yourself from a reputable pharmacy and apply it yourself before attending the clinic.
- Purchase Local Anaesthetic from the Clinic: As an alternative, you may wish to purchase a small quantity of local anaesthetic directly from the clinic for future use. This may be a more convenient option in the long term.
