Description
It is recommended that you have a diagnostic hair loss (medical trichology) consultation first before purchasing this product, as there are more suitable alternative treatments. This treatment is primarily beneficial in male and female pattern hair loss, and is likely to help with telogen effluvium, traction alopecia. There is a published case report of benefit with alopecia areata.

This product is suitable for male patients within Norwood Scale 1-5 and female patients within Ludwig Scale 1-2.

Home Use: Using a sterile microneedling device the home system can be used by patients either as maintenance after their initial 6 weeks of treatment in the clinic (where it can be applied once a week or every other week depending on how the patient has responded to the treatments), or it can be used by patients purely at home if they would prefer to not come into the clinic for treatments (e.g. from a cost perspective or having to commit to coming in once a week for the 6 weeks).

We tend to find better results in-clinic because you can go deeper, it is more hygienic and it typically involves a blood test prior to treatment to rule out any other causes for the hair loss (hormone imbalances, vitamin/iron deficencies etc.). However, we have a huge number of testimonials and amount of data to prove that the home use is effective.
