What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable anti-aging treatment made from hyaluronic acid (HA).
This treatment is intended for use in the improvement of skin laxity and tissue remodelling anywhere on the face and body.
It is a unique type of bio-remodeller. Rather than relaxing muscles and creating false volume, it stimulates our four types collagen and elastin, leaving you with tighter, firmer skin and beautiful hydration.
Profhilo is a two-part treatment, done in two sessions 4-6 weeks apart. The effects can be achieved in 2 sessions for some people. In some cases 3 or 4 treatments may be needed. Maintenance treatments can be done every 6-12 months, depending on the condition of the skin.
The slow release of HA by Profhilo results in natural bio-remodelling of the skin and improved skin quality lasting for up to six months.

Unlike traditional facelift treatment, injected Profhilo dissipates and is absorbed by the skin within a 2 cm radius of an injection point. Rather than creating volume directly where it is injected, it acts as a hydrating agent that disperses giving up to 20% skin hydration. This prevents issues such as ‘over-filing’ and ‘frozen faces’. The dissipation also means that only five injections are required on each side of the face or 10 injections for skin improvement around the neck area. This is far lower than traditional treatment that can go up to 30 injections.
