- Cleanse face with tepid water, not hot water.
- Do not pull off peeling skin. Cut off with scissors.
Key things to know
- This is not suitable if you have keloid scarring.
- If you get cold sores, you will need to start treatment in the week before the peel.
- If you want to keep your freckles – please don’t have this treatment as it will get rid of 75% of them!
- In general the best results are seen at about 28 days, but results can be seen at 7 days.
- You will need to engage in a good skincare programme to help to maintain results and prevent recurrence of your skin issue.
- The acne peel and melasma peel do better with 2 weeks’ preparation with skincare products.
Can the peel be combined with other treatments?

Should I choose this treatment for under-eye dark circles?
Under eye dark circles are difficult to treat and this treatment won’t get rid of them. There are other targetted treatments like Light eyes and specialist under eye creams that would be better.
What should I do after the treatment?
This treatment will address your particular skin concern now, but the issue will come back if you don’t keep treating with appropriate skincare.
