With recent advances in regenerative aesthetic medicine, it has been shown that stem cells play a vital role in hair growth. Stem cells in the hair follicle are responsible for hair growth but remain in the scalp even though certain factors render them dormant.
The key ingredients in SkinGenuity Hair Restoration Serums are targeted growth factors. These are the body’s own Inter-Cell Messengers that stimulate stem cells to trigger hair follicles to start regenerating hair. The key principles are:
The main difference is that with platelet rich plasma treatment for hair loss patients’ growth factors from their own blood are used, whereas in this treatment a synthesised version of Growth Factors that is allowed under EU law is used.
Targeted and focused Growth Factors which are modified to penetrate the skin are the top of the pyramid for hair and skin treatment.

The application protocol has ranged from microneedling using 0.5mm and 1mm needle depth with a 15 day, 20 day and 30 day interval. One case used SkinGenuity Hair Restorative solution as mesotherapy.
Using nano-encapsulated growth factors to aid absorption through the skin, the product uses the complex protein noggin to improve the coverage and thickness of hair. Nine other targetted growth factors induce the growth phase in resting hair follicles and stimulate the cells that cause normal hair follicle and normal overall hair growth. These multiple inter-cell messengers mimic the body’s regenerative processes.
The treatments are done in clinic every 2-4 weeks using the WOW fusion device.
