It can be confusing to know where to get the right advice when experiencing hair loss. Having trained as a GP in the UK I was very aware of how little training I had on hair loss which was typical.
When I see patients with hair loss, they have sometimes seen other practitioners but might not have been aware of the various routes of training for the different types of hair specialist.
